The walk continues for around two hours, through the vast expanses of desert, until you reach Elbour. This is where you will set up camp for the night. In an idyllic setting surrounded by majestic palm trees and slender tamarisk trees. As the sun begins to slowly fade into the horizon, you soak up the serenity of this desert landscape. Enjoying the enchanting spectacle of the sunset among the golden dunes.

Day 2: Dune Douib - Wad Naam - Dune Bertham

In the morning, you sit down to a nourishing breakfast. Savoring every bite in the tranquil atmosphere of the slowly awakening desert.

Once the camp is dismantled and the camels loaded. You hit the road again, ready to discover what the day has in store for you. The walk takes you through dunes and arid plains, while the sun slowly rises in the sky. After a few hours of walking, you reach Wad Naam, a peaceful place where you will stop for lunch. You eat your meals while soaking up the serenity of the desert around you. Thus recharging your batteries for the rest of your trip.

After this well-deserved break, you continue your route towards the camp near the dunes of Erg Bertham. Your destination for the night. Late in the afternoon, you finally arrive at your camp. The return walk takes approximately two hours, taking you through the changing landscapes of the desert, as you recall the memories and experiences gathered during your journey. You will finally reach the small dunes of Mezouaria, where you will decide to take a well-deserved break for lunch. This is an opportunity to savor the tranquility of the desert one last time, while exchanging stories and laughter with your traveling companions.

After this last meal in the middle of the desert, you calmly return to Mhamid in the afternoon. The family landscape begins to take shape on the horizon, marking the return to civilization after these days of isolation and total immersion in wild nature.
